Terms of service
Effective 12 October 2026
These terms apply when you use drnirmalsherbs.com or book a consultation with Dr. Nirmal Purohit (Dr. Nirmal’s Herbs). By booking, you agree to them.
Our services
Dr. Nirmal Purohit, BAMS, offers one-to-one Ayurvedic consultations by video (Google Meet or Zoom). Each consultation includes an assessment based on Ayurvedic principles and personalised guidance on diet, daily routine and, where appropriate, herbs. Fees and what each consultation includes are listed on the booking page.
Who can book
You must be at least 18 years old to book. A parent or guardian must book for, and attend with, anyone younger.
What online consultations can and can’t do
- Online consultations rely on your history and what can be seen on video. Some examinations, such as pulse reading, aren’t possible remotely.
- Consultations are not for emergencies. If you have severe or sudden symptoms, contact your local emergency services.
- Ayurvedic guidance complements, and does not replace, care from your regular doctor. Don’t stop or change prescribed medicine without speaking to the doctor who prescribed it.
- Dr. Nirmal may decline or end a consultation if a concern needs in-person or specialist care, and will recommend that you seek it. If this happens before any assessment has taken place, your fee is refunded.
- For patients outside India, see the medical disclaimer for the nature of the guidance offered.
Booking and payment
- Fees are shown in Indian rupees (INR) for patients in India and in US dollars (USD) for patients elsewhere, and include any taxes that apply.
- Your appointment is confirmed only once payment has been received in full.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We never see or store your card details.
- For international payments, your bank or card issuer may charge conversion or foreign transaction fees. These are outside our control.
Rescheduling, cancellations and refunds
You can reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment for a free new slot or a full refund. Full details are in the cancellation and refund policy.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate and complete information about your health, medicines, supplements, allergies, and any pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Join on time from a private place with a working camera and microphone.
- Don’t record a consultation without Dr. Nirmal’s agreement.
- Keep your regular doctor informed, and seek their advice if your symptoms change or get worse.
Herbs and products
Consultation fees don’t include herbs, formulations or other products. If herbs are recommended, buy them from reputable sources and check that they’re permitted where you live. Tell Dr. Nirmal straight away if you have any unexpected reaction.
Your plan
The written plan you receive is for your personal use. Please don’t republish or share it commercially. All content on this website belongs to Dr. Nirmal Purohit (Dr. Nirmal’s Herbs).
Liability
We provide consultations with reasonable care and skill. Results vary from person to person and no particular outcome can be guaranteed. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any consultation is limited to the fee you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you book applies to that booking.
