Information on this website
Everything on this website is general information about Ayurveda. It isn’t medical advice for you personally and shouldn’t be used to diagnose or treat any condition.
Consultations
- Dr. Nirmal Purohit holds a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) and practises Ayurveda in India.
- Consultations offer assessment and guidance based on Ayurvedic principles. They complement, and don’t replace, care from your regular doctor.
- Don’t stop, reduce or change any prescribed medicine without speaking to the doctor who prescribed it.
- Results vary from person to person, and no outcome can be guaranteed.
Patients outside India
Dr. Nirmal is qualified and registered in India and isn’t licensed as a physician in other countries. For patients outside India, consultations provide Ayurvedic lifestyle, dietary and wellness guidance. They don’t amount to practising medicine where you live, and don’t include prescriptions for medicines regulated in your country. Please check local rules before buying or importing any herbal product.
Herbs and safety
- Herbs can interact with medicines and may not suit you during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with some health conditions. Always share your full medical history.
- Stop any herb and seek medical help if you have an unexpected reaction.
Emergencies
Online consultations are not for emergencies. If you have chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe bleeding, signs of a stroke, thoughts of harming yourself or any other urgent symptoms, contact your local emergency services immediately.
